– to win agains your opponent with a hand that had been initially inferior to the one of the opponent but became better in the course of the hand
Outs
– the number of cards left in the deck that can improve a hand
Over the Top
– a situation, in which a player raises a raise; e.g. going over the top means to re-raise a raise
Overbet
– to bet more than the pot
Overcall
– to call a bet after one or more other players have already called
Overcard
– a card, which is higher than any of the cards on the board
Overpair
– a pair that is made from the player’s pocket cards and that is higher than any pair that could be made with the community cards
Overplay
– to invest in a hand more money than it is worth
Overset
– a set, which is higher than another player’s set
